Happy Gotcha Day to the "Boys"


Three years ago, while I was vacationing in New Mexico, I received a call from my sister. It seems my nephew, who was moving home, needed to find a new home for his cats. While he was willing to take them to the Shelter, he first wanted to know if I could take them. He knew they would be able to stay together and that wasn't a sure thing at the Shelter.
So, while I was gone, I became the new mommy to two beautiful boy kitties and they have been joy everyday since. So, Happy Gotcha Day to my Charles and my Runt. Mommy loves you lots.

    Aw, we're glad you took them! Who knows what would have happened at the shelter...we shudder to even think of it.

    So we'll wish Charles and Runt a very happy Gotcha Day -- we hope the day brings extra treats!

    Yes, extra special treats came home with mommy, so it's a really good day. Plus, we have Taz cornered under a chair in the basement! Mommy yells at us for not playing nice but often, Taz starts it by hissing at us as we walk by.

    Oh, that sounds like our house, when our Annie was still alive (she passed in Feb). She hated us boys and there was a lot of hissing, snarling and growling every day. Fun times.

    So play nice today, you two, and don't pester Taz. It's your party day after all, so you can take the high road and just enjoy your treats. LOL.
